I used to play every weekend about 8 years ago. I'm going to try and get back into it. I have not followed the sport all this time and I am little lost on trying to get a gun. I'm looking to go about once or twice a month. I'm looking to spend about 200 dollars on a gun. Do any of you guys have any suggestions. I look forward to playing at fox. I only got to play on this field a few times when it just opened and there wasn't even a shack for air refills. Thanks for any help

Hi. If u can spend $250.00 you can get a great proto matrix rail off of ansgear.com . They are my favorite paintball website. My dad has a rail and he loves it. There are many things you can upgrade down the road. I promise you won't be dissappointed with this gun

If you want a poppet the azodin markers are decent, like the blitz or the upgraded zenith($150and$250). but an axe, Etha or an Etek3 LT ($400-450 range) would be your best bet if possible they are well worth the money and will stay with you longer in my opinion. those will come with some kind of warranty for they are all new but you can also get older superguns in the same range used like EGOs, DMs are good i hear if you know how to keep em lubed, or you cant go wrong with a bob long ($500-$300)

Check out fox paintball. They have Proto Rails starting at 250. Invert Minis in the 300 area. They have 2 planet eclipse Etha's in stock right now Normally $400. But they have a promo Etha that is the same exact thing but cooler for 375.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll have to go to fox store. I'm stuck in between the Proto Rail , DP G4 and the Invert Mini. I have no clue what one I should pick. I did get to play with the g4 today at the field and I liked it. Anybody got any opinions on these guns. Im probably going to go to fox store this week to see what they have.

If you plan on getting back in the first thing I would recommend would be a good mask first, regardless of how new or fast your gun is, you can't shoot what you can't see. After that a gun would be your best investment. This is just my opinion. I see a lot of people try and get back in and something as simple as fogged masked all day ruins that chance to even motivate you to play more.

I agree with all of the above, I am prtial to The Tank's A5, but currently use an Etek 2. Bothe markers can be had used for around $200 pretty well equiped. But don't forget that if you go for an electronic marker you will need to feed the beast, and hoppers are not cheap. But definitely check out that Etha and Mini, out of the box they offer great performance.
